Rally Cap Program: This program is one of our grassroots programs for children ages 4 to 9 with a main focus on the FUNdamental movements (running, jumping, throwing, side shuffle etc.) with a general progression into the basic fundamentals of the game. Rally Cap is designed to develop young players while at the same token, getting parents involved in their child’s development on the field. This is a great way for parents to build confidence in understanding the game, in an attempt to continue coaching as their child moves up through the ranks. The structure of the program includes a 6 on 6 game in the infield with two to three skills and drills stations in the outfield. The standard Rally Cap session typically lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes, warm-up included with a focus on children receiving as many repetitions as possible, rather than playing an actual baseball game where there is potential they don’t touch the ball at all. To arrange a Rally Cap session for your association please contact the Technical Director at email@example.com. Along with an association conducting Rally Cap sessions, t-shirts and hats are available to celebrate the progression of each player. We encourage as many parents and coaches to attend these sessions as possible as it’s important to ensure everyone is delivering the same philosophy.
Winterball: The primary focus for Winterball is to introduce to children the fundamentals of baseball in a fun manner that is non-competitive and that provides a positive learning experience for all involved. Designed for students aged 6-12.
My 1st Pitch: Another part of our grassroots programs, My 1st pitch is for children ages 9 through 13. This program involves an introduction to proper grip as well as proper pitching mechanics. Like everything we do at the grassroots level, there is a general progression where the children go through a structured throwing program which can be implemented into your daily practice plan and pre-game routine. The main purpose behind My 1st pitch is to teach children proper throwing mechanics, progressing into proper pitching mechanics with plenty of repetition. This in turn will build a strong foundation as children move on to play at higher levels. If associations are interested in booking a My 1st pitch session please contact the Technical Director at firstname.lastname@example.org. We encourage as many parents and coaches to attend these sessions as possible as it’s important to ensure everyone is delivering the same philosophy.
Skills and Drills Clinic: The skills and drills clinics are typically for players 13 and up. Based on the needs of an association these clinics can focus on all facets of the game or just a few facets. Eg. Infielding, outfielding, hitting, pitching etc. The skills and drills clinics will provide the most up to date technical instruction, focusing on the finer details while providing a nice baseline. For associations interested in booking a skills and drills session please contact the Technical Director at email@example.com We encourage as many coaches to attend these sessions as possible as it’s important to ensure everyone is delivering the same philosophy.
