14U Girls ID Camp

Published Monday, July 17, 2017

In September 2015, NS took its first 14U Girls Baseball team to the Atlantic Championships in Grand Falls-Windsor, NFLD where we faced 3 teams from NFLD.  In 2016, the tournament grew to 7 seven teams from NS, NFLD & PEI when we hosted it in Bedford, NS. Both tournaments were amazing experiences for all the players, and this year is shaping up to be the best yet, as NS proudly hosts the 14U Girls Atlantic Championships in Bedford, NS from September 8th-10th!

Who is eligible:

Baseball NS is currently inviting 14U female players interested in representing NS to participate in one of our ID camps. This opportunity is open to any girl who is turning 12, 13, or 14 in this calendar year and a member of one of BNS's recognized associations.  As well as being an experienced community baseball player, players must also show a love of the sport, as they will be representing BNS and Girl’s baseball on an Atlantic stage.

The commitment:

The 14U Core Team will have several practices and/or games leading up to Championships for team building and skill development. Players are expected to participate in all games during the Championship between Sept 8-10.

How to apply:

The next round of ID camps will be taking place July 22nd at the Highland Park Field in Hammonds Plains from 10:00 – 12:00, and on July 23rd at the Allen Heights Field in Head of St. Margaret’s Bay from 1:00 – 4:00.  If you would like to attend the camp(s) or be considered for the team, please fill out the form at the following link by July 21st, including details of your current team, and your reason(s) for wanting to play on the NS 14U Girls team. http://baseballnovascotia.com/index.php?src=forms&ref=2017+14U+Girls+ID+Camp&id=2017+14U+Girls+ID+Camp
