Call For 2026 17U NS Selects Team Coaches
BNS is reopening the application period for the head coach and assistant coach positions of the 17U program.
Please note that the structure and commitment level of the program has been updated for the 2026 season. Commitment expectations of the program are as follows:
- Conduct province-wide tryouts and select roster through April and May.
- Conduct workouts during June and July (4-5 sessions per month), with a focus on development.
- Limited competition schedule (2-3 tournaments plus several exhibition games)
- Attend the 17U Canada Cup in Summerside, PE from August 5th-9th.
Coaches will be expected to work collaboratively with association teams to manage schedules of athletes playing on the 17U team, as well as an 18U club team.
Commitment is for 1 year, with an option to renew for 2027.
