Bluenose League | Beginning in 2021, the Bluenose League offered all female divisions for the first time at the 12U and 14U age groups. As of 2024, the Bluenose League hosts all female divisions at the 12U, 14U, and 17U age groups. Teams can choose to play a full schedule of approximately 24 games, or a half schedule of 10-12 games, from early June to mid-August. Teams participating in the Bluenose League are organized by local associations. For more information on all female baseball teams participating in the league, check out our Association Contact page, and reach out to the association nearest to you. If your local association does not currently offer a team in participating in the league, girls are eligible to play on an all female team in another association. | |
Provincial Championships | Provincial Championships are currently offered at the 12U, 14U, and 17U divisions. Events are held at the end of August (dates vary by the year). These events serve as a culmination of the teams' skill development from the entire season and allow them to compete for the provincial title for their division/tier. |

Girls At Bat | Girls At Bat is a baseball for development initiative designed to help girls across the country set lofty goals and pursue them with tenacity. Jays Care Foundation and Plan International Canada have partnered to work with communities, schools and non-profit organizations to help increase female participation and retention in sport, using a 8-12 week baseball and/or softball program as the vehicle. Partners apply to implement the program and receive robust training, coaching resources, equipment, some financial support and remote and in-person support to launch and sustain their programs. Each partner selects the level of Girls At Bat that is most appropriate to the group of girls they want to work with and their level of capacity for program delivery: | Bring Girls At Bat to Your Community |
